Quality is Job… Well…Something

Saw a paper-plated brand-new Ford Fusion today.  The vertical alignment of the trunk was 5mm to 8mm off.  The misalignment was clearly visible where the taillight clusters extended from the unibody onto the trunk lid.  It was even more apparent when the lights were turned on and the thin perimeter lights accentuated the offset.

Get Kitty

“The Company” has served Orca and Mojo with the C & D finally, so get your various Kitty-iterations while you can.  I’m somewhat surprised it took this long, but I guess their clientele generally doesn’t move in tactical circles, so it may have gone unnoticed a lot longer (at least longer than the copyright-infringement diecut stickers).

Bulk-Purchasing Ass-Hats

The bad driving quotient at Costco is as terrible as Wal-Mart. I’m amazed the parking lot isn’t scattered with crushed pedestrians.

Beer Is Good – Henry Weinhards Redwood Flats Amber

Pours clear orange amber, weak head that quickly dissipates. Moderate floral aroma, almost smells like hint of jasmine. Subtle roast, medium bitterness that fades but leaves a touch of astringent feel on tongue. Medium mouthfeel that despite the weak head is cut by a fairly strong lasting carbonation. An easy quaffing pleasant beer.  I wonder, did this beer used to be called something else and they just rebranded?

Brug

The Sapporo Brug bakery grand opening line is out the door and all the way to the mauka parking. Not worth standing in line for over an hour for the free tote bag.
