Semi-boneless

Seeing on new Subarus, pzev, partial zero emissions vehicle. WTH is that?! All my vehicles are pzevs, at this very moment they are not producing any emissions!

  • It’s all California’s fault. PZEV’s are the result of a deal between car manufacturers and the State of California to delay the roll-out of ZEV’s for the CA market. One possibly good thing about anything sold as a PZEV is they have a 15-year/150k emissions/evaporative system warranties (though those components may not be different than non-PZEV versions, they just have coverage).

    Actually, as your cars sit (especially the Rally FX with the deleted evaporative system), they all have VOC emissions that exceed the PZEV standard.
