The Trouble up North

To every South Korean who embraced the idea of peaceful reunification and thought the joint economic zone at Kaesong and humanitarian aid to the DPRK was a good idea,

To every Korean expatriate or ethnically Korean descendant in Japan who sent their hard-earned (or ill-gotten) cash and various commercial goods back to the homeland via the Chongryon’s Mangyonhbong-92 purpose-built smuggling ship,

To every country that sent humanitarian aid to the DPRK, which was instantly siphoned off by the party upper class and the military, some being resold on the black market for hard currency,

To every kid in Australia who partook in illegal/questionable recreational drugs delivered to their country by DPRK spy boats,

2013 February 02, 02:57:51 UTC was ALL your fault!
